Oldtime Farming Festival will be held this year on September 20th and 21st. We provide a family fun environment for all ages. There is no cost for guests, but by doing this, we need the support of our community and local businesses.
Every year I send out sponsor letters. This year I want to show you where the money goes. So here is a brief breakdown.
- Youth Art: $300
- Beans: $800
- *Cookie Contest: $100
- Pie Auction: $900
- Contest and Games Tent: $3,000
- Kids Corner: $1,500
- *Mini Indy: $ varies
- *Kids Tractor Pull: $725
- Magician: $500
- Train Rides: $500
- Hayrides: $2,000
- Apparel: $2,000
- Tractors: $3,000
- Entertainment: $6,000
- Scholarship: $2,000-3,000
- Security (varies every year): Approx. $2,500
- Tents: $1,500
- Horticulture: $1,500
- Apparel: $3,000
- Raffle: $1,000
These are just the fun things and don’t cover the normal expenses that come with holding a big event like this. All these can vary from year to year. This is just a few ways sponsor money helps keep our
festival going.
